Office anywhere Freelife vs the 9-5 grind... no more paycheck to paycheck

My hubs snapped this shot of me "working" this morning. This is me on most days. On my patio, in my backyard, with all my furbabies. I LOVE animals can you tell? ðŸ˜Š I remember back in the day when I had to leave them to go to work and it broke my heart. So grateful for this life by design now. I get to be with them and that makes my heart so happy.

Three years ago, I was in the same position. It was at that time that I was introduced to the Coach opportunity. At first, I blew the opportunity off. I signed up only for the discount because I am a #CancerSurvivor and NEEDED the nutrition to help me, well… live! I didn't think I was fit enough or healthy enough to coach others. I didn't know if I had time or the energy to help since I was on my own journey recovering. But I found when I shared about my journey, it was helping others, they started reaching out and asking what I was doing and if they too could do it with me. I couldn’t believe that this 65 pound over weight, over 40 woman, was inspiring others. And to be honest, even with 90% insurance coverage, we were left with $32,000 in medical bills. I couldn't stand the paycheck to paycheck life anymore, so I decided to give it a shot.

Now, I'm living the life that I LOVE. With hard work and determination, I've built a six figure business from home, and the best part is that it's based upon helping other people reach their health and fitness goals. I feel fulfilled in my new career. I feel like I'm making a difference in the lives of others while earning more income than I ever would have in my corporate career; and I have so much more flexibility and freedom too.

How I push through the hard days.

I used to just crumble on hard days. I would put the pillow over my head and hope for a better tomorrow. Until I realized nothing would change unless I changed it, and that includes my mindset.
Truth is, we are the only ones that can change our life, our day, our minute. No one can or will do it for us. So I learned to argue with myself.

I acknowledge my feelings and emotions. I write them down.
I have cramps.
My head hurts.
I am tired.

Then I write down the solution.

I have cramps, but I will feel better after I stretch and move my body.
My head hurts, but I will feel better after I hydrate myself and fuel my body with a healthy meal.
I am tired, but once I have some green tea/ or coffee/ or my morning energy drink I will start waking up and feeling better.

I take  deep breath and say: " I am so thankful for another day to get better . " and 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.... I get up and start moving. I got that trick from the 5 second rule by Mel Robbins. It works.

I have a rule that I am not allowed to do ANYTHING until I get my workout in. I HAVE to do it first thing. Some days I KILL that workout, other days I barely crawl across the finish line. I just have to show up and do my best THAT DAY, one move at a time.

30 minutes later I have finished what will probably be the hardest thing I face that day. I walk through the day lighter, proud, and confident.

Celebrating

It is #WomanCrushWednesday and I am crushing hard on some of the amazing souls I got to sweat with for the past 6 weeks. We are all different shapes and sizes all with different goals.

Tas Scott-Gass is on the quest for abs with me and she shed a TON of inches and pounds and one day closer to the toned tummy she craves.

 Erika Jade Curtis and Amanda Desiree Orth were looking to shed some pounds and get stronger and they both achieved it and are still going strong.


 Christina Lee Gamble came to me when she hit a plateau and over the past 6 weeks she lost 20 pounds and is still going strong!
 Reigna Fall who wanted to reclaim her pre-baby weight, she just had her son 7 months ago guys and she is stronger, and healthier than she was pre-pregnancy!
 Morissa Mercaldo wanted to lose some tummy softness and gain abs and she did just that.

These are just a few of my daily familiar faces that help me push through to my goals just as much as I help them. The accountability, friendship and encouragement are 100% what gets me through the hard days, and propels me further on the great days.

Make it for a week before you make it a lifestyle.

Happy Tuesday!

I have taken a long break from daily blogging/writing. Mostly because I write best in solitude. My life changed so much during my cancer recovery, I am such a different person, I rarely have solitude anymore. So the result has been ... less writing. I do love to write and express myself, so I am going to attempt to getting back into daily journaling here, even if it is just a quote or something to ponder.At least Monday - Friday, a girls gotta have breaks and time unlpugged. 🙂

Oh and I plan to use emoji's. I don't care if it isn't "proper" to do so on a blog. Hi, my name is Christi and I am far from proper. I am a freebird. I do my best to be true to my spirit. I strive to be a better me today than I was yesterday, and to give to others what I wish to have. I believe we all hold the power within us to do and be whatever we want. We also hold the chains that keep us from all we want.

This is my daily journey about breaking my chains and living a life by design.

What makes me so excited is that it is the perfect place to start. Often people don't believe they can do it. Or maybe they don't know where to start. Or they join a gym and never see results because no one is guiding them. This will put an end to it. They can get connected through me and my accountability group, they can get a week long nutrition plan for them to START with, and have guided exercises for 30 minutes a day they can do from anywhere as long as there is wifi. No excuses now!

On another note I want to chat you up about my issue with people not believing in themselves.
What is up with that?
I am seriously FLOORED with what I hear every day from people. It is like their spirit light is turned off and they are on automatic pilot. I want to SCREAM: "Wake up!". What is it that drives you? Why are you here? It is NOT to pay bills and die. It is NOT to spend the majority of your life showing up to work for someone else's dreams!!! Time and time again I watch people go to school to be a yoga teacher because it was their dream, only to find them a year later hating life because they spend all their time driving from studio to studio barely making ends meet... and their love for yoga starts to fizzle. I see the same in all professions.

Why not side hustle? Why not pursue your OWN company while you do the grunt work for someone else. It will never cease to amaze me that people will give 8 hours of their life to someone else but can't show up for their own dreams.

Look, I have a blueprint for how to succeed in online coaching. If you are in the health and fitness industry at all... My transformation can lead to your transformation


Since it is #ThrowbackThursday and I have a few hundred new followers I thought it was time to share with you all my starting point.
On the left is 4 years ago. I was 65 pounds heavier, looked a LOT older, was very unhappy, uncomfortable, and 6 weeks prior had a fe#Cancer tumors removed from my body. I was riddled with guilt and shame and surrounded by toxic "friends". I made a decision. I was worth fighting for. I told my family and everyone who would listen that I was never looking back. I would reclaim my health and happiness. So my daughter Taylor Ann Moufaddal forced me to stand there while she took my "before" picture. I refused at first but she said I would be so happy later when I looked back and could see how far I have come, and she was SO RIGHT!
I lost friends along the way, but they were not the kind of people that were going to help encourage and love me. I can pretty much guarantee they are all still right where they were or further down the path of destruction. I knew in order to change my life, I had to change both who I hung around, and my daily habits. So set forth and found a solution I could stick with. A permanent lifestyle change.
So here I am today on the right. Modeling for an active wear company. 65 pounds lighter, looking a LOT younger even though I am 4 years older, I am SO comfortable in my own skin, #CancerFree , and helping thousands overcome the same issues I used to have. The people that surround me lift me up with positivity, love and SUPPORT !
