Fabulous New Gluten Free Crackers
Today I am excited to tell you about Jilz Gluten Free Crackerz. I had not heard of these fabulous crackers until Jill contacted me. Turns out we had a mutual friend in common. Small world! She asked if I wanted to try the crackers out, and the love for these crackers began. These are not overly processed crackers. Their simple, nutritious ingredients include almond flour, sesame seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, tapioca flour, apple cider vinegar and a blend of seasonings. Simply put, these are really really good crackers!
How did they get started? She and her husband would go to gatherings where their host had prepared an array of lovely appetizers but nothing they could eat! So they went to different markets, sampled all the crackers in the "gluten free" section and realized the simple cracker they had been making at home was better than anything they had found in the markets! With all the encouragement from friends, family (and strangers) they decided to launch Jilz Gluten Free. The yummy crackers are gluten free and prepared with organic natural ingredients (and love).
They need our help to spread the word about these crackers. They have started a kickstarter campaign to help them fund a kitchen for their brand. In order to be able to grow and fulfill a lot of orders, they need a bigger facility!
Do you want to support their mission?
You can get your crackers here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1512795989/jilz-gluten-free and it is donating to their project AND you get your crackers.
They also have fabulous cracker crumbs that work great in the place of bread crumbs in recipes.
If you want to make these scrumptious crackers at home, no fear.... you can buy the cracker mix too! Pulling those warm crackers out of the oven hits the spot!
Don't forget you can get these crackers delivered to your door, simply by buying them through their kickstarter campaign HERE.
Tis' the season to be naughty fa la la la la, la la la la! There are yummy bites everywhere. I do my best to stay away from most of...
