Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken

Gluten Free Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken
For those of you that read me every day. You know that I have been sick. You may recall the text message I got from my husband telling me I was not to cook because he wanted me resting and getting well. Here is the shocker... I listened to him! I found this recipe from: Busy Mommy. It is just like going to the supermarket and buying one of their rotisserie Chickens. Super easy and something my daughter can throw in the crock pot for me. I printed off the recipe for her and gave her my camera. She easily made this dish and we devoured it. The house smelled great all day too. Here is all you need:
1 whole chicken
2 Tbsp Paprika
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 1/2 tsp onion powder
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
water
Place all of your ingredients in a small bowl and stir in water by the teaspoon until a paste forms.
My daughter got creative and had to make a design out of the paste first.
Spray your slow cooker with cooking spray and place the chicken in, breast side up.
Coat the chicken inside and out with the paste.
Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours or on high 4 -5 hours. Make sure the thickest part of the thigh registers at 180 degrees.
The meat was so tender and juicy and just fell off the bone. Taylor did a great job!
