Guilt Free Rootbeer Floats

The average Rootbeer float is 380 calories. For just a small Rootbeer at at Dairy Queen, you will get 370 calories. So today I bring you a large Guilt-Free Rootbeer float that is only 30 calories. My secret? Zevia Zero Calorie Ginger Rootbeer

All the flavor of rootbeer you love, without the calories. If you have not heard of Zevia Soda. They are an all natural soda company that sweetens with Stevia rather than sugar or artificial sweeteners. Diet soda is so bad for you. With so many studies showing how soda and diet soda is bad for you. I am pleased to have been given some zevia to share with you. Check out Zevia today!

Here is my recipe for a Guilt-Free Rootbeer Float:

1 Zevia 0 calorie Ginger Rootbeer
1 scoop Homemade Frozen Greek Yogurt 30 calories (recipe Below)

Homemade Frozen Greek Vanilla Yogurt
1/8 cup water (0 calories)
1/4 cup stevia (0 calories)
1 large egg white, room temperature (17 calories)
1 3/4 cups plain Greek-style yogurt, cold ( nonfat 140 calories)
1 tsp vanilla extract (37 calories)

In a small saucepan, combine water and stevia. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Boil for about 1 1/2 minutes.

While the stevia boils, beat egg whites to soft peaks in a large, clean bowl. When the sugar is ready, continue beating the eggs at a low speed and very slowly stream in the hot stevia. When all the sugar has been incorporated, turn up mixer to high and beat until meringue is glossy and has cooled down to almost room temperature.

Fold cold yogurt and vanilla into the meringue.
Pour yogurt mixture into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer directions.
