The quest for the best burger has been on in this house. My husband and son LOVE a good burger. Add having to have a gluten free burger, and it can make it tough to make the BEST burger.

Today we tried out EnerG Seattle Hamburger Buns. Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Dairy Free. Taylor loved them.
Now for the meat. I can't be a good judge of these, so I asked my Husband, Daughter, Son and Son's girlfriend, and they all loved them. For toppings I prepared Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Sauteed Mushrooms, Cheese...etc.. All the regular American toppings.
2 pounds ground sirloin
1 teaspoon gluten free soy sauce -or- braggs amino acids
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Throw all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix. Then make your patties.
Preheat your grill to 350 degrees. Place prepared patties on the grill and for 5 minutes each side. Don't touch or smash them in between. Just leave them alone. The last 2 minutes toast the buns.
Serve with your favorite toppings.
I have nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award! Stop by my blog for the details :) Have a good day!

ReplyDeletePS... I'm asking around... are you having trouble with your Foodbuzz inbox? Mine has not been updating since May 18th. I put in a request with them to check it out.... but I want to see if I'm the only one with the problem. ~ Thanks! ~ Ramona
