Curried Pumpkin Hummus add a GIVEAWAY

Don't you just love Hummus? I always think of Chickpea's and garlic when I think of hummus. But I saw this recipe for pumpkin hummus and thought... now that would be great for this time of year. I
adapted from You can view the original recipe here. I originally posted a simple adaptation but a fellow blogger went ape crazy, saying it was just like hers. I never saw her post, until she sent it to me, but really... I don't want anything that is even close to hers. So ... I changed it.  I always try to link back to anyone I get ideas from. So thanks !

I am always looking for new things to offer Taylor for a snack.  We have these great gluten free pretzels from Ener G foods that go amazing with any dip. They actually are amazing on there own, but I have to get some fruits and veggies in her... So this is me being creative. It is yummy! A great thing to serve during the fall.
Who wants to win some really really good free snacks? gluten free pretzels? These pretzels taste just like your regular gluten filled pretzels... but without the gluten =)

 Curried Pumpkin Hummus
  1. 1 15 ounce can pumpkin puree
  2. 2 tablespoons tahini
  3. 2 garlic cloves crushed and finely minced.
  4. 1/4 cup sweet onion finely chopped.
  5. 2 teaspoons curry powder
  6. 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (omit if you don't like any heat)
  7. 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  8. 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  9. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  10. 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • In a food processor, combine all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

  • Spoon into serving dish and eat! =)

  1. Hummus scared me for some reason - I don't like beans. I love pumpkin though, so I think I might be able to get past my bean problem!
